Genevieve Sherman is the founder of Into Awareness, she is passionate about sharing her mindful approach to stress management. Genevieve created the awareness method as a platform to share simple practices that make a big difference. Genevieve is a mindfulness educator, speaker, outdoor enthusiast and yoga teacher. She is a 200hr RYT certified yoga teacher from Yoga Inbound in Cusco Peru, and certified to teach children’s yoga from If I Was A Bird Yoga. She is a certified yoga therapist from Deep Yoga School of Healing Arts and mindful educator though Mindful Schools.
In 2012 Genevieve started Creative Growth Yoga, a yoga based creative development business, encouraging children to find words through art & movement. She has been teaching yoga and self-regulation in the public school system for over 5 years. Her focus has always been to empower others to become more self-aware.
She enjoys sharing her knowledge and insight with educators so they can better take care of themselves and their students well-being. She is passionate about helping others find balance and joy in their lives and classrooms.

Into Awareness was started with the intention to empower educators and children to become more self-aware. Practicing self-awareness leads to greater intrapersonal intelligence and compassion for others. We offer a mindful approach to social and emotional education. Into Awareness provides experiential emotional education through workshops and retreats. Our philosophy is to support educators so they can better support their students.
Genevieve has been teaching in public and private school systems around San Diego, California for over 5 years. She has seen the benefits of these simple practices and how mindfulness can positively effect the classroom environment and student success.
Into Awareness is built as a platform for educators to learn how to integrate these practices into their lives and classrooms. We provide professional development workshops in awareness methods and wellness workshops for stress management.
